Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team.
Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility.
You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site.

Maintains hospital standards of zero tolerance for mislabeled specimens and collects laboratory specimensaccording to hospital protocol Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments and procedures as requested Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies Assists in patient/equipment preparation Performs follow-up actions as directed Job Requirements Required High School Graduate/GED Certificate Other Medical Assistant /Completion of an accredited MA program Other Completion of a US Armed Forces medical services training program Computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR Preferred Previous Medical Assistant Experience Electronic Medical Record EMR experience Experience in designated specialty area Bilingual skills
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program or US Armed Forces medical training. A Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required, and experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
