About the role

Provide high-standard emergency and urgent care to critically ill or injured small animals in a 24-hour hospital setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans.

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in providing the highest standard of excellent emergency care to the small animal pets of Western New York.

Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge program.

BluePearl Buffalo is offering: Annual base salary up to $190,000.00, depending upon level of experience.

Additional earning potential through quarterly production bonus (no negative accrual).

What you need to excel at BluePearl DVM/VMD degree required.

Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.

Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DVM or VMD degree and possess a current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state. Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care is preferred but not required.
