Requirements summary

Position Purpose
Help to coordinate Managed Care services. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of assessment/admission services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field or a nursing license
Five years experience in behavioral health treatment
Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed
Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling
Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources
CADC Certification (or CARS Certification) or ability to obtain
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment
Responsibilities
1.
Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.

Provide managed care and utilization review support for inpatient and outpatient adolescent or adult services.
3.
Provide financial case management support in conjunction with Patient Accounts Representative .
4.
Maintain communication with Patient Accounts Representative and assist in communicating with families to insure 100% client funding.
5.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date system of managed care contacts utilizing the system designated by Rosecrance.
6.
Participate in daily capacity management meetings and communicate funding changes as they affect the treatment team.

Compile and submit reports on activities of Managed Care as directed.

Serve as a member of the Access Team and participate in all team meetings and 9.
