The Wound Care Nurse assesses, treats, and develops care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions. They also provide clinical consultations and conduct in-service training for nursing and medical staff.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1-2 years of wound care experience. A Wound Care Certification (WOCN) and prior long-term care experience are preferred.

USD $40.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc). Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care. Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions. Qualifications & Requirements Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required) 1-2 years wound care experience required Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred 1+ years of long term care experience preferred Reliable transportation required
