The Medical Assistant provides clinical support by preparing patients for exams, performing allergy testing, and administering injections as ordered by providers. They also manage administrative tasks such as documentation in electronic medical records, insurance verification, and maintaining clinical supplies.
A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates holding a CMA or RMA certification from an accredited program. At least one year of experience in a medical practice is preferred, along with knowledge of OSHA guidelines and medical record documentation standards.
