The Patient Care Technician assists with direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, and helping with hygiene and mobility. They also coordinate diagnostic procedures and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient satisfaction.
Candidates should have previous hospital experience and possess strong critical thinking and judgment skills. A current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
