OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition, and other family programs. Our mission is to provide excellent healthcare to American Indians. We do this by putting people first, providing quality services, and maintaining our Integrity and Professionalism. We are looking to add compassionate team players to our growing team as we continue to work toward our goal of becoming the national model for American Indian Health Care. Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is looking for a passionate LPN eager to join our team and provide professional nursing care to adult patients. An ideal candidate will be energetic, highly motivated, a flexible team player, and readily adaptable to a quick-paced environment. Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and must provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).
  • Some essential duties to include: Assists medical staff in screening, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care Provides education to patients and families Keeps exam rooms stocked with medical supplies Maintains up-to-date diabetic education Prepares and administers medication Schedule management Retrieves and responds to patient telephone messages and EHR notifications Operates and monitors general nursing equipment The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is a non-profit organization and not a federal employer.
