Morrison Center is seeking a Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in Scarborough, Gray and Wells, Maine Morrison Center is hiring an additional Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP), Monday - Friday The DSP must be willing to transport clients out into the community, provide personal care, complete daily documentation, and have a good understanding of what community supports is. DSP staffer to support the clients in maintaining, obtaining, and managing their goals. Requirements of the Direct Support Professional: HS Diploma or GED Required DSP Certification preferred but will train the right candidate CPR/First Aid Certification Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Valid Maine Driver’s license required and a clean driving record Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someone’s private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well.
