The occupational therapist performs patient evaluations, establishes plans of care, and ensures the delivery of prescribed therapy services. They also provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote innovative therapy practices within the facility.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a current state license. A BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire.
Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes innovative occupational therapy services and fosters professional development within the organization and the broader community. Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Currently Licensed as an Occupational Therapist BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
