The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental and medically complex needs in home and outpatient settings. They will develop play-based treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support developmental milestones.
Candidates must hold a degree in Physical Therapy and an active Maine license. Experience in pediatric physical therapy or early intervention is preferred, along with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Incredibly flexible Health Insurance plans Education Reimbursement Paid time off Opportunities for internal promotions What You’ll Do As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you’ll provide skilled pediatric therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents with developmental and medically complex needs. You will: Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental delays, neurological diagnoses, and medically complex conditions Provide care in both a pediatric outpatient clinic and home health / early intervention settings Develop individualized, play-based treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function Deliver early intervention physical therapy and support developmental milestones Partner with families and caregivers using a family-centered care model Collaborate with an interdisciplinary pediatric team (PT, OT, SLP, nursing, providers) Track progress and adjust care plans to support functional outcomes Complete timely EMR documentation across settings What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT, DPT) from an accredited program Active Maine Physical Therapist license Current CPR certification Experience in pediatric physical therapy, early intervention, or outpatient pediatrics preferred Experience with medically complex pediatric patients strongly valued Ability to work across outpatient and home health settings Strong clinical judgment and adaptability Excellent communication skills with children and families Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Come see what we do with a ride-along or job shadow!
