Provide essential counseling and support to individuals with substance use disorders through assessments and personalized treatment plans. Facilitate individual sessions using evidence-based techniques and collaborate with healthcare professionals to guide clients toward recovery.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, along with valid CADC or LCAS licensure. Candidates must have experience with substance use disorders and familiarity with CBT and trauma-informed care.
Facilitate individual counseling sessions focused on recovery and behavioral change Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Support clients in building coping skills and relapse prevention strategies Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, therapists, and social workers Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and clinical standards Provide crisis intervention and support when needed Attend weekly CST meetings Must be willing to travel between clients Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Valid licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LCAS) Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT and trauma-informed care Strong knowledge of crisis intervention and medical records documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations Job Details: Job Types: Full-time Pay: Dependent on Licensure.
