Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte, is currently seeking a Full-Time Adult CT/Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their established practice in Charlotte, NC. You'll be joining a great team atmosphere with opportunities for autonomy. Our surgeons are readily available and easy to work with. Our busy practice provides plenty of opportunities for continued growth while remaining centrally location.
Job Summary
Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, developmental stages, and special needs of the patients served.
Candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently with strong decision-making skills. Strong communication skills a must. Will be working with a variety of MDs, APPs and ancillary staff for inpatient management and coordination of patient care.
Shifts: Nocturnist - 12hr shifts. rotating schedule 7on-7off with 14-off every 3rd cycle.
Multiple providers to allow for flexibility to schedule
Weekends, Holidays required. No Call. Travel to other sites may rarely be required.
No OR responsibilities, but exposure to OR setting possible
Procedures, including bedside talc pleurodesis, autologous blood patch, TPA instillation, chest tube removal, pericardial drain removal, and wound vac placements.

Candidates must be an experienced NP or PA, graduated from an accredited program, and maintain current licensure in North Carolina, including prescriptive privileges and a DEA license. Experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic, or vascular surgery is preferred, and certification from NCCPA (for PAs) or Acute Care NP Certification (for NPs) is required.
