The Direct Support Professional provides one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and the community. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, implementing behavior support plans, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass a background check. A valid driver's license and the ability to use a smartphone or tablet for documentation are required.
