The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to complex patients on the Pulmonary and Medical Intermediate Care unit, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios. They will participate in evidence-based therapies, research studies, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin or a compact state and hold current CPR/BLS certification. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, along with at least six months of relevant inpatient nursing experience.
90% FTE, evening/night shift. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
