The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures by preparing equipment and monitoring patient conditions. They also contribute to quality control initiatives and provide emergency care such as CPR and defibrillation when necessary.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or equivalent experience, along with a valid Radiography or imaging credential such as ARRT-R or RCIS. Proficiency in cardiovascular anatomy and the ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes are essential.
