The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider, including clinical procedures and patient intake. They also manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining clinic supplies.
Candidates must hold a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification and a Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification. A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice or completion of an externship program is required.
