The Occupational Therapist is responsible for examining and evaluating patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans. They monitor patient progress, modify care strategies as needed, and provide education to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a current Florida Occupational Therapy license, with BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Less than one year of clinical experience is required, and experience in hospital-based rehabilitation is preferred.
The Occupational Therapist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Occupational Therapist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
