Plastic Surgeon

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We are currently seeking candidates for a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery specialist to join our team at Largo and Kensington Medical Center.

What You Can Expect

• A broad reconstructive practice which includes both implant-based and autologous breast reconstruction, post-weight-loss soft tissue removal, head-to-toe reconstruction of soft tissue defects in coordination with our surgical oncology team, post-Mohs reconstruction of facial defects, breast reductions, functional blepharoplasties, transgender top surgery, and other miscellaneous reconstructive cases
• Work in a collaborative environment with a group of 7 other full-time plastic surgeons
• Call coverage for our patients which is split evenly among all plastic surgeons, and does NOT involve coverage of hand call
• This position is listed as a 1.0 FTE, which is the equivalent of 40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Microvascular fellowship is preferred but not required; should have comfort and willingness to perform microsurgical cases, primarily in context of breast reconstruction (DIEP flaps), as part of two-surgeon team

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Plastic Surgery
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
