An exercise specialist performs electrocardiogram (Ecg) tests on patients while they exercise. The technician monitors the patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and pain levels to accumulate data about their heart function.
Monday through friday.
May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity.
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor in Exercise Science preferred
Completion of CAN program, Medical Assistant Program or like program required. 2-3 years of cardiac patient care experience with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms preferred.
