The Physician Assistant provides primary medical management and develops care plans in collaboration with PACE physicians. This role involves evaluating participant health, managing chronic conditions, and actively participating in the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an unrestricted state license. At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting is preferred, along with strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an unrestricted PA license in the state of practice. Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a geriatric setting preferred. At least one (1) year experience working with frail and elderly populations, or willingness to complete PACE-specific training upon hire. Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and provide care for frail and elderly participants. Strong decision-making, conflict management, and organizational agility; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Compliance with state-specific health requirements (e.g., Employee Medical Statement in North Carolina).
