Working in our Maternal–Fetal Medicine (MFM) Department offers sonographers the unique opportunity to be directly involved in patient care throughout the entire pregnancy journey—from the first trimester through delivery. While we are a fast-paced and high-acuity department, we pride ourselves on being a close‑knit, supportive team.
You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, social workers, and medical assistants, fostering strong communication, teamwork, and continuity of care. This collaborative culture creates an exceptional learning environment, supported by our monthly anomaly conferences, where we review cases, explore specific anomalies, and stay current with the latest research and protocols.

Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with OB/GYN issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) needs to be obtained within 1 year, and
Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Fetal Echocardiography issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) needs to be obtained within 2 years, and
Nuchal Translucency credential issued by the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review Program needs to be obtained within 1 year, and
Nasal Bone credential issued by the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review Program needs to be obtained within 2 years, and
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, and
A valid drivers license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
