The Medical Assistant will assist providers with patient rooming, EHR documentation, and clinical procedures while maintaining a clean and organized exam environment. They are responsible for ensuring accurate medical records, adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, and maximizing provider efficiency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a formal Medical Assisting program. At least one year of experience with EMR systems and vital signs is required, with BLS and CMA certifications preferred.

Assists in directing the provider to the appropriate exam room and assists them in documenting the patient’s visit in the EHR. If appropriate, goes into the exam patient’s room with the provider and always conducts themselves in a professional manner. Coordinates with other staff to ensure a timely start to each shift with rooms stocked and patients roomed by the provider’s start time. Prepares charts for patient visits, especially new patients, making sure all test results and reports from referring and other pertinent provider are available for the patient’s visit. Directs the patients to check-out.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS High school or equivalent (Required) Have completed a formal Medical Assisting program Spanish speaking capability is preferred
We are looking for previous experience with electronic health records, excellent communication and computer skills.
