Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) is seeking a skilled, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing health-related oversight, medication coordination, and nursing support in community-based programs. The Role at a Glance Part-time position Community-based work across program sites; travel and home visits required Mix of independent work and collaboration with program staff and leadership Hands-on clinical coordination, documentation, and staff support Reports to: Registered Nurse (Developmental Disabilities Division Nurse) What You’ll Be Responsible For
You are: Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities A strong communicator who can collaborate with diverse teams and families Reliable, accountable, and calm under pressure You have: Active, in-good-standing Georgia LPN license (required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Active, in-good-standing Georgia driver’s license (required) Ability to maintain required 16 h annual training (DBHDD) Education & Experience 5 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (required) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred) Computer proficiency (required) Physical Demands High energy level; ability to work with a diverse population with tact, maturity, and flexibility. Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments; ability to concentrate and focus on information, reports, and outcome measures; and comfort working in a high-performance team environment. Physical requirements include sight, hearing, sitting for more than four hours each day, lifting 50 lb or less (per HRST requirement) and other physical requirements required to complete essential functions of the position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Work Environment May vary from site to site as the employee travels frequently for home visits, meetings, and events.
