The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups. They will also perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to manage patient care.
Candidates must hold an active Physician Assistant License issued by the West Virginia Board of Medicine and possess current Prescriptive Authority. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop and reach. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.

Responsible for the provision of a full range of primary care health services, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in all age groups, preventive and well child care, minor surgical procedures and occasional medical emergencies. Physician Assistants are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training.
