The Medical Laboratory Scientist evaluates and solves problems related to specimen collection and processing while maintaining specimen integrity. They also facilitate laboratory workflow, troubleshoot outstanding tests, and assist coworkers to ensure timely patient care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field and have completed an approved Medical Technology training program. Professional certification such as MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) is required within six months of hire.
