Operate CT scanners to provide cross-sectional images for medical diagnosis and manage patient workflow. Ensure department compliance with ACR and TDH regulations while maintaining equipment and mentoring junior technologists.
Requires ARRT registration, CT certification, a Texas State License for Radiological Technology, and CPR certification. Must be proficient in Synapse RIS and Epic with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Participate in complex technical activities associated with the operation of medical imaging equipment in CT. Contribute in activities in the department ensuring accuracy and completeness of work, cross-training of employees, responsible for ACR accreditation, and adherence to established Radiology, Medical Clinic of Houston, and the Code of Conduct policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service and positive outcomes during conflict resolution.
