The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety. They also collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide excellent care and maintain equipment functionality.
Candidates must hold a Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification and have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning is preferred, along with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Registered CT Technologist (ARRT) certification or equivalent required. State licensure as a radiologic technologist (if applicable). At least 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferred. Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to put patients at ease. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and assist patients, as required. Ability to stand for long periods and operate CT equipment.
