The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures and ensuring accurate image acquisition while adhering to radiation safety protocols. They collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide high-quality diagnostic images and maintain accurate patient records.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and hold ARRT certifications in Radiography and Computed Tomography. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred, along with a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred Licenses/Certifications ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Technologist as required by the State of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, including CT procedures preferred Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
