About the Role

Shift

• 3 x 12 hours shift with rotation

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography or Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry in good standing or Registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). If the registry is eligible, you must pass the registry within two years of employment
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). If the registry is eligible, you must pass the registry within one year of employment.
• BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Experience in a clinical setting performing ultrasound examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound/vascular examinations on patients as per physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
• Document and maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures and findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in patient care planning.
• Completes quality control checks on instrumentation and periodically reviews completed cases for quality assurance.

• Additionally, teamwork is vital, as you will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to interpret results and contribute to patient care decisions.
• Preferred skills, such as advanced knowledge of ultrasound techniques and experience with specialized ultrasound procedures, will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive imaging services.
