How you’ll contribute Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular test; and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab Scrubs at the tableside and monitors patients as assigned.

Responsible for patient transport as necessary.

Prepares equipment and supplies.

Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.

Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

Assists Technicians in performing technical tasks.

Ensures temperature and environmental monitoring logs are maintained appropriately.

What we're looking for Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology or RCIS) - Required Licenses: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab.

Certification

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire

Work

Experience: One year cardiovascular lab or special procedures experience - Preferred. Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure. Requirements
