The Patient Care Technician provides direct, routine patient care including ambulation, bathing, and feeding while maintaining patient records. They also perform clerical tasks such as managing appointments, answering phones, and maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms.
Responsible for providing routine patient care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the nurse or physician, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained at all times.
