Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, DSM-5 diagnoses, and evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups. Maintain clinical documentation and coordinate care through community referrals while meeting billable hour requirements.
Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and current licensure in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LP). Must possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Provides assessment and intervention to assist clients/families to improve social and economic difficulties interfering with health and wellness through use of casework process and principles, strategies, and community resources. Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned: Maintain at least 25 billable hours /week. Establish and maintain a supportive, therapeutic relationship with clients in a safe and respectful environment. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and provide accurate DSM-5 diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-basedtreatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, goals and presenting concerns. Provide ongoing individual, family, or group therapy and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans as clinically indicated. Monitor and document client progress through regular assessments and clinical observations. Collaborate with family members and other supports when appropriate, maintaining client consent and confidentiality standards. Coordinate care by making referrals to external providers or community resources as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically sound documentation for all sessions and client interactions in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of care, including maintaining client confidentiality and following all clinic safety and compliance protocols. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and otherpractice-related activities as required. Maintain regular in-person availability at the clinic and provide limited after-school appointment times to support client scheduling needs. #LI-KH1
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field. Current licensure in the State of Michigan as an LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LP. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Ability to provide individual, group, and/or family therapy in alignment with evidence-based practices. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
