Responsibilities

Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement) One year healthcare experience desirable. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.50 to $38.36.
