The Medical Assistant provides clinical support in a heart and vascular center, specifically within the HOPE Clinic for advanced heart failure. Primary duties include performing blood draws, POC testing, and traditional patient rooming.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program. BLS certification is required within 90 days, and a recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA) is required within 120 days.
