Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Registered Nurse at CHI St.

Vincent in Stepdown Unit, you will help patients transitioning from intensive care achieve optimal health and independence so they can return home safely and confidently.

Every day you will provide direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing complex patient needs.

You will be expected to collaborate effectively with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Checking patients' health status daily and making note of any changes or concerns Caring for multiple patients throughout the same shift, often varying in age and condition Monitoring patients with life-saving medical equipment such as IVs, catheters, feeding tubes and ventilators Providing a comfortable and secure environment for the patient while acting as their advocate Job Requirements Required Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 - months Previous step down and/or ICU experience required for PRN

Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Arkansas with BLS and ACLS certifications. Previous step-down or ICU experience is required for PRN positions.
