The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients' functional abilities to create and deliver individualized treatment plans. They focus on improving motor skills, coordination, and independence through therapeutic techniques and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and possess a valid state OT license. CPR certification is preferred, and while experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
The Occupational Therapist will: Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs Create and deliver individualized treatment plans Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function Support patients in regaining independence and quality of life Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough OT evaluations Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices Educate on strategies to improve function and safety Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately Stay current with OT best practices and research Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program) Valid state OT license Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Passion for patient-centered care CPR certification preferred Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer.
