• Range: $21.00 - $21.00 Hourly Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #SSM-IN) ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation services to a 42-year-old gentleman with a developmental disability. He lives in a group home on the west side of Syracuse. He and his family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist him with working on his goals in various community settings.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting him to pursue his hobbies and interests by accompanying and supporting him during community outings Assisting him to volunteer Teaching safety skills Providing transportation daily We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency. Training provided.

Schedule

• Monday through
• Friday/9:00am-3:00pm (30 hours per week)
• Pay
