The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing imaging procedures, selecting appropriate exposure factors, and administering contrast media. They must monitor patient status, educate patients on procedures, and ensure high-quality imaging results.
Applicants must hold an associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences and be registered as an MRI Technologist by the ARRT or ARMRIT. State licensure in New Mexico and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required upon hire.
