Assists in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. Responsibilities include documenting treatment progress and adhering to safety and privacy regulations to ensure optimal patient care.
Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program and valid PTA and BLS certifications. Candidates should have one year of recent relevant experience and a valid driver's license.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: PTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: Department - SCAH: Auto Insurance Department - SCAH: DL-Valid Drivers License TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year of recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Critical thinking and problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice. Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements. Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies. Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities. Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills. Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
