Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board-certified or eligible in Radiation Oncology with an active medical license. Experience with electronic medical records and strong clinical patient management skills are required.

In this role, you will provide high-quality radiation oncology services, collaborating with a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. You will be integral to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes and advancing the standards of care in our community.
Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer requiring radiation therapy Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients Perform radiation treatment procedures and oversee patient care Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families about treatment options and side effects
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology Strong clinical skills and experience in patient management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Patient Volume: 10-20 per day
Setting: Outpatient
Case Mix: Primarily prostate and breast
Duties: Supervise radiation treatment, simulations, new patient consults, and follow-up on established patients
Machines: Varian Trilogy, GE Discovery CT sim, Varian GammaMed
Support Staff: RN
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
