The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including the administration of medications, including injections. Engages clients and families to determine physical health status. Formulates and implements an effective nursing care plan understanding psychiatric illness and its treatment as appropriate for Scope of Practice. Demonstrates an understanding of age-related development and other issues for the population(s).
Comprehensive physical/psychological evaluations, mental health counseling, and case management.

Must hold a valid California LVN or LPT license along with current CPR and First Aid certifications. Requires either one year of experience in mental disability programs or a commitment to complete 20 hours of regulatory on-the-job training.
