Independently performs registered nurse functions in a critical care setting, coordinating comprehensive care plans for patients and families. Responsibilities include prescribing and delegating care, documenting encounters in EPIC, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requires a BSN degree and at least 2 years of experience as an RN in an ICU. Must hold a current Texas nursing license and certifications including BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs. Critical care settings are defined as intensive care units and/or emergency department.
