The Medical Assistant supports the provider team by rooming patients, facilitating clinic flow, and handling scheduling and checkouts. They are also responsible for administering vaccines and performing various administrative tasks to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and have successfully completed a competency-based medical assistant training program. BLS certification is required within 90 days, and a recognized MA certification (such as CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is required within 120 days.
