Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (4HH East)
This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments such as ablations, left atrial appendages, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain.
Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork is a standard of the staff
Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level. At times, RNs could be up to 5 patients depending in staffing
