Salary
$33 - $42 / HOUR
Provides professional nursing care and age-specific treatment for patients while maintaining accurate documentation of status and interventions. Participates in comprehensive discharge planning and utilizes nursing judgements in both routine and emergency situations.
Requires a current nursing license in the state of Illinois and CPR certification. Clinical experience is preferred, along with proficiency in technical nursing skills and physical assessment.
Education and Experience: Licensed and current registration in the state of Illinois. Current CPR certification. Clinical experience preferred. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to initiate a nursing plan of care and identify appropriate nursing interventions and evaluations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent working knowledge of the Nursing Process and strong nursing practice skills, including physical assessment. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and technical skills specific to the assigned department Physical Requirements: Work is of medium to heavy demand. Routine lifting requirements of a minimum of more than 50 pounds. Stands and walks for most of the shift. Lifting, pushing, pulling, sitting, bending, and reaching required. May be exposed to infectious diseases. Works inside.
