The Medical Assistant prepares patients by reviewing medical history, taking vitals, and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments. They are also responsible for performing lab tests, documenting patient information in EMR, and handling administrative scheduling tasks.
Candidates should preferably be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Experience with EMR, medical office environments, and prior authorizations is preferred along with strong communication skills.
