The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other laboratory specimens from patients of all age groups. They also handle specimen processing, transportation, and management within the laboratory information system.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification from the AHA or American Red Cross. Proficiency in blood collection is required, while college education and prior phlebotomy experience are preferred.
