The Medical Assistant performs both administrative and clinical tasks, including documenting patient histories and assisting providers during medical procedures. They are responsible for maintaining patient privacy, managing schedules, and ensuring the sterilization of medical instruments.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology. A Medical Assistant Certification is strongly preferred along with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
