• To learn more visit Welcome to Wellington Regional Medical Center | Wellington, FL Job Requirements: The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching.
• The Pharmacist fills orders for medications, monitors patient’s drug therapies and provides drug information.
• The pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff.
• In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.
• Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead.
• Verbalizes stroke alert process.
• Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in the State of Florida.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.S.
• Pharm.) required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting required.
