• Shift: Third ShiftThe RN Weekend Warrior is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents or patients during weekend shifts in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living facility. This position is ideal for Registered Nurses who prefer weekend shifts and want flexibility in their schedule. The RN Weekend Warrior plays a key role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents during the weekend.

• Patient
• Assessment and
• Care: Perform comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical, emotional, and mental health during weekend shifts. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs. Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility protocols. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any significant changes in condition to physicians or the healthcare team.

• Administration: Safely administer medications and monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects. Ensure proper documentation of all medication administration in accordance with regulatory and facility standards. Follow established protocols to ensure residents receive the right medications at the right time.
• Documentation and
• Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, treatments, and progress in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures, related to nursing care and patient safety. Participate in the handover process between shifts, ensuring that incoming nursing staff are updated on the status of residents and any care changes.

• Support: Provide compassionate care and support to residents, addressing their emotional and physical needs. Communicate with residents' families to keep them informed about their loved ones’ health status, treatments, and any changes in care plans.
